At the end of February we had the pleasure of collaborating with Yuliya Rae of Zipperture Photography, based in Seattle, Washington on a fashion shoot featuring our unique and one of a kind giant knitted designs.
From initial sketches to the final product designs it was a wonderfully creative process that resulted in beautiful, spring-inspired, giant knitted fashionable pieces that are simply drool-worthy. The colors remind us of cherry blossoms, green tree buds and a sea of daisies in a sunlit field.
Yuliya, the photographer, was also inspired by color for this photo shoot. She writes, "I was drawn to the way light alters colors and how the texture of whatever I was wearing would, as if by magic, change its appearance based on light and shadow." (source)
Our color-focused images landed us an editorial feature in Promo Magazine, a New York based fashion magazine featuring incredible fashion from around the world. You can see our editorial and purchase your own copy here.
We must also take note of incredible team members who made this shoot happen: Rachel Jordan Beauty for the hair and make-up artistry, Lydia Marie for wardrobe styling and models Michelle Schlaman and Madilyn Pawlowski for modeling our designs.
We are very proud of the photos we have created together and extend a big thank you to all the team members for this wonderful collaboration. We look forward to working with Zipperture Photography again on a set of summer designs featuring our chenille yarn. Stay tuned for more!
