On July 4th many years ago (245, to be exact), a document was signed proclaiming America's independence from Great Britain. The original thirteen colonies were now free from British rule, ready to begin their life as a nation of their own.
Today we associate July 4th with fireworks, barbecues, parades and fairs. It is a holiday of independence as much as community. Because it is still the people in our life that make it all worthwhile.
How do you celebrate the 4th? What is your family's tradition?
Whichever route you go, we have a suggestion to add to the mix. How about knitting something fabulous in red, white and blue to celebrate the occasion?
We have a number of amazing new items. Check them out and get started on something before the big holiday is here.
