It's Friday! Besides the usual giddiness that accompanies the most exciting day of the week, we are all filled with even more joy since we know this weekend in particular we get an extra day off. 

This weekend America will celebrate Memorial Day. To many people this holiday is known as the official start of summer - kids are soon to be graduating high school, the beach looks more appealing by the day and the barbecue you have planned for this weekend promises to be epic. 

While we absolutely encourage joy and celebration, we also wanted to remind our lovely followers as much as ourselves what this day truly is about. 

We observe Memorial Day to honor all those who have sacrificed their lives so we can laugh and barbecue this weekend. Those who bravely face danger to uphold the American ideals of freedom. Those who give their lives so that we can live ours.

Their sacrifice is infinite and deserves the utmost reverence. 

So this Memorial Day make sure to take a moment to remember all those who served and died while protecting our country. Raise a glass for the souls of all those brave men and women. Send a prayer and a word of gratitude to them and their families. 

And then - celebrate. Because every single life deserves celebration! 

Have that barbecue, connect with your friends and family over food and drink. Make memories and enjoy the gift of time that we've been given!
